The Solar Ultraviolet Imager (SUVI) instrument will be provided by Lockheed
Martin.
- X-ray Irradiance Sensors (EXIS)
Carries the Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM): a lightning mapping
instrument to enable early predictions of intensifying storms and severe
weather events.
Other instruments are:
the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI): resolution 1/10 of a square mile
the Space Environment In-Situ Suite (SEISS)
the Magnetometer
